About this Event
The Texas Living Waters Project (TLWP) is a collaboration of conservation groups, led by the National Wildlife Federation’s South Central Region, the Sierra Club and Galveston Bay Foundation. Program Director Tom Spencer will talk to us about this long-standing effort.

TLWP has been around for 18 years.

About the Speaker
Tom Spencer is Program Director, Texas Living Waters Project on behalf of the National Wildlife Federation. Tom’s passion for the outdoors and sustainability has been an integral part of his life and career. He expresses his love of nature through photography, writing and gardening, and hosts the Emmy Award winning gardening program “Central Texas Gardener.” Tom has a public service career spanning over 35 years. For most of that time, he served as a Producer and Host of Public Affairs programming for KLRUTV, Austin’s Public Broadcasting affiliate. In addition he has served as the CEO of Interfaith Action of Central Texas (iACT) and Executive Director of I Live Here, I Give Here.
