GREEN FINANCING FOR COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 1, 2016 Peloton Commercial Real Estate Bank of America Building, 901 Main Street, Suite 4200, Dallas, Texas 75202 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM
About the EventThough we all try to do more with less, it still comes with a major cost when considering major energy or water efficiency improvements in commercial buildings. Green Financing for Commercial Real Estate will focus on answering the questions as to why large scale energy and water efficiency upgrades continue to get 'kicked down the road' in existing commercial buildings.
The event will include 30 minutes of presentation highlighting some of the major reasons why building owners do not invest in these upgrades. We will also introduce some of the financing levers that can be pulled upon when trying to get these upgrades paid for, including the introduction of PACE, a recently adopted financial vehicle for the City of Dallas.
The second half of the event will include a round table, town hall type meeting discussion with industry leaders from within the commercial real estate community. You will have the chance to hear from individuals representing property management, facility operations, financial, ownership and public program developers as they answer, from their perspective, the long standing question, "why is commercial real estate still slow to adopt major investment in energy efficiency projects."
Lunch will be provided.
