South Texas Region


The South Texas Regional Council is committed to our communities, environment, economy and organizational excellence. Some of our 2020 priorities are:

      • Leadership among industry and education professionals to further green building, natural resource protection, and sustainable practices
      • Market transformation to create a vibrant economy that supports the natural environment and the health and wellness of our community members
      • Policy development for innovative codes, regulations and incentives
      • Community-wide sustainability resulting in better built environments and ultimately better lives
      • Green schools and youth education that support our next generation of sustainable leaders

We achieve our priorities through:

  • Education and Outreach – events, webinars, continuing education and networking opportunities
  • Providing Expertise – technical assistance, advocacy
  • Supporting YouthK-12, college organizations, college training and certificates, green schools
