• to develop programs that educate our members in the design, construction, and operation of sustainable real estate projects;
• to provide the tools (connections, opportunities, and detailed examples) necessary to move your suppliers, clients and projects in a greener direction;
• to create healthier learning environments in schools and learning opportunities for our children involving advocacy, curriculum development and service events; 
• to provide information and guidance to our local, regional and state leaders on decisions impacting the built environment and infrastructure, land development practices, and natural resources;
• to advocate for additional jobs, incentives and practices that encourage growth of the green economy;
• to involve communities in striving for a better built environment for all Texans;
• to lead by example for the rest of the country.
