The U.S. Green Building Council comprises a diverse community at both the state and national levels, uniquely connecting all aspects of the building industry. The community includes architects, contractors, developers, educators, engineers, government officials, home builders, marketing professionals, product suppliers and real estate leaders. They all share a common goal: to ensure healthy, energy efficient buildings and communities where people can live, work, learn and play, with a focus on the triple bottom line -- economic, social and environmental prosperity.
U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) is a mission-driven organization committed to transforming how our buildings are designed, constructed and operated, based on the belief that every person deserves a better, more sustainable life.
The USGBC Texas Chapter (USGBC Texas) is an affiliate member of USGBC and is a primarily volunteer-run community-benefit nonprofit (501c3) dedicated to ensuring a better built environment for current and future generations of Texans.
USGBC Texas is governed by a volunteer State Board of Directors and is organized into five Regional Councils that provide regional and local opportunities for conversation, collaboration, education, advocacy, and networking.
There are many opportunities to join and get involved with our mission-driven organization at both the individually and company level.
