With LEEDv4 becoming the required rating system November 1st, many sustainable leaders and project teams are working to gain an increased comfort level with the new strategies, especially those found in the Material Section.  The Building Product Disclosure credits are those with rapid industry development as manufacturers and other organizations are working to increase resources to address project demand.  During this presentation we will review two important Building Disclosure credits that address EPDs and HPDS, including: their importance, the role they play on projects, and the resources currently available to make projects successful.

 Learning Objectives:

  • 1.      Learn more about the Building Product Disclosure & Optimization credits on EPD and HPDS & how to discuss their role with project teams and clients.
  • 2.      Discover the most up-to-date resources available to find declarations and certifications.
  • 3.      Learn the pertinent part of the documents to determine LEED v4 compliance, including what is up-and-coming in the HPD.
  • 4.      Understand project strategies today for achieving these credits on projects.
