GREEN SCHOOLS: HIGHER PERFORMANCEWEDNESDAY, AUGUST 23, 2017 Green Building Resource Center1002 Washington Avenue, Houston, TX 77002 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
About this Event Creating Culture Change & Saving $: People want to hear how Greener Buildings can save money, which they do. But the impacts of green buildings can go so much farther when those buildings are schools. We are creating the culture of the future by training our children to make sustainable choices and live in harmony with the environment.
Join us to meet an expert who has saved a school district $3,000,000/year through green design, an Energy Manager who will describe the impact of building operations on the district budget and how including operations personnel can save huge amounts of money, and a former educator with a doctorate exploring the impacts of Green Buildings on student performance.
