About this Event
Manufacturers and everyone utilizing manufactured items put chemicals in the air, water, and the very goods they sell or dispose of. Some of these chemicals are dangerous to life and create unintended consequences.
Lawrence is an investigator for the City of Houston, and will give you some insight regarding his particular regulatory activities and what kind of enforcement actions are taken. Paige is active with local air pollution and will discuss progress and continuing issues with the air we breathe, and what can and can’t be done from the non-profit side. Jon represents a furniture manufacturer who’s mission is to rethink the way they make and recycle things that make better ecological sense, especially with plastic, which has become a waste problem of epic proportion.
CEU’s available.
