About the Event

Mark your calendar to join us for an interactive tour and case study of Franconia Brewing Company, ranked #1 sustainable brewery in Texas by Wide Open Eats in 2017.

With a brewing Heritage that dates back to 1800, Franconia Brewing Company is more than just a local brewery, it is the essence of true Bavarian brews. Franconia Brewing Company not only delivers the freshest brews to your favorite restaurants, pubs, taverns, and local stores, they also have adopted many Green practices to help improve the environmental concerns in North Texas. These practices include recycling mash into local cattle feed, operating in a state-of-the-art energy efficient building and minimizing emissions from delivery trucks. To learn more about Franconia Brewing Company, you can visit their website here.

We'll hear from owner and founder Dennis Wehrmann about all the processes and features used to maintain a highly sustainable operation.

Dennis Wehrmann was born in Nurnberg Germany, and his decision to become a brew master goes all the way back to his Great Grandfather Schaubert. After working in multiple breweries since the age of 12 and pursuing his education, he decided to move to the U.S. where he opened his own brewery.

We will also hear from Dr. Dan Hartmann, Doctor of Chiropractic with the North Texas Healing CenterHis topic will focus on the impact of environmental toxins, how they affect our everyday lives and how we can work on minimizing them through nutritional and lifestyle changes.

Dr. Hartmann's passion is deeply rooted in family health and finding the true underlying cause of chronic illness. As a former CrossFit coach and passionate foodie, he lives and promotes an alternative and positive lifestyle. To learn more about Dr. Hartmann and the North Texas Healing Center, you can visit their website here
