About This Event: 

The USGBC Texas Best Practices app gives all built environment ecosystem stakeholders equal access to the social, environmental, financial, and emerging equity cost impacts our design, construction, and operational decisions create. The democratization of the triple bottom line (People, Profit, Planet) dollar benefits or burdens that complex designs, technologies, policies, and processes have on our business and personal lives, engages everyone in the quest for better outcomes.

The USGBC Texas Best Practices app creates the defendable business case substantiation that allows community and building creators, inhabitants, and influencers to more aggressively advocate for better buildings and communities minimum standards and the immediate implementation of proven best practices that provide the safest, healthiest, most efficient, and most prosperous places to live, learn, work, or play.

By understanding the full social, environmental, financial, and emerging equity cost benefits and burdens of alternative designs, technologies, policies, and processes we can provide a more equitable and just future for all Texans.
