Join the USGBC Emerging Professionals committee August 14th for our monthly committee meeting. We will be joined by Ashley Besic to talk about her experience within the decarbonization and sustainability field.
We will follow that up with our regular committee meeting. See the meeting agenda and meeting notes attached to the confirmation message. Ashley Besic, the Senior Associate of Thermal Energy Networks at the Building Decarbonization Coalition (BDC), is a dedicated professional driving change by leading zero-emission initiatives and engaging with policymakers, the building industry, and consumers. She plays a key role in transitioning away from fossil fuels and reducing climate pollution, coordinating efforts with state policymakers, manufacturers, and industry associations.
Ashley also oversees the "Making Equity Real" process, ensuring equity is integrated into all project stages and advocating for equitable practices. She manages the National TENs Coalition's operations and serves as a relationship manager for key stakeholders. She holds a Master of Science in Real Estate, a B.A. in Multidisciplinary Studies, and certifications as a LEED Green Associate, Fitwel Ambassador, and Green Globes Emerging Professional.
