The USGBC Texas Central Region is planning for its 4^th annual Green Apple Day of Service for Spring 2026. This event brings volunteers together to build and/or paint picnic tables for 3 to 4 Title-1 Austin ISD schools each year.

We typically build all tables at one receiving school and then deliver tables to additional recipient schools during the weeks following the build day. This year, the event will take place on Saturday, May 9^th at Cunningham Elementary School. A signup for volunteering to follow soon.

This project every year wouldn’t be possible without our generous sponsors and individual donors. Each $150 helps us buy a table for schools that are in need for places to sit when they have classes and dining outdoors.
