The 2019 Austin Green Awards will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 30th from 6 - 10 p.m. at The Sunset Room, 310 E. 3rd Street, in downtown Austin. Tickets can be purchased at www.atxgreenawards.org.
The Austin Green Awards is Austin’s first recognition program to specifically highlight the outstanding accomplishments in the broad arena of sustainable design and innovation. One of the Austin Green Awards’ co-‐coordinators, Gail Vittori, notes, “Austin has catapulted into a nationally and internationally recognized city for innovation and sustainability. Recognizing the pivotal role that buildings, sites and infrastructure play to define our future, we are excited to launch this year’s Call for Nominations, and thrilled to have such an accomplished group of judges for this year’s Austin Green Awards. This is an opportunity to once again put a spotlight on the inspirational buildings, landscapes and infrastructure that are beacons of what is possible. We look forward to learning from this year’s impressive awardees.”
The Celebration will recognize the 2019 winners, highlighting forward facing design strategies that respond to rapidly evolving environmental, social, and health imperatives. Four prominent locally and nationally recognized sustainability leaders serve as the 2019 Judges:

- David Lake, FAIA
- Kate Simonen, AIA, SE
- Susan S. Szenasy
