About the Event
The Dallas Comprehensive Environment & Climate Action Plan (CECAP) will create a comprehensive roadmap that outlines the specific activities that the city can undertake to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve environmental quality in the city. The city kicked off its Climate Action Plan at EarthX 2019. Some of the areas of concern addressed in the CECAP include Buildings & Energy, Transportation & Land Use, Water & Wastewater, Solid Waste, Parks & Open Space, Food & Urban Agriculture, Air Quality, and Climate Resilience. At this event, the City of Dallas Office of Environmental Quality & Sustainability will present background on the plan and will solicit feedback from those in attendance.
