About This Event:

USGBC Texas believes in promoting sustainable and healthy environments for all.  Outdoor time in schools has been increasingly identified as a huge benefit to the health and wellness of students. In order to promote outdoor time for students for dining or learning, we are organizing a Green Apple Day of Service for Central Texas schools.  Join us to help build outdoor tables for two Austin ISD schools.

The schools we have identified currently to serve are:

St Elmo Elementary School
600 W St Elmo Rd, Austin, TX 78745

Widen Elementary School
5605 Nuckols Crossing Rd, Austin, TX 78744

The building will take place at St. Elmo school.  We need at least 25 volunteers to assemble the table kits at the school on Saturday, May 14^th from 9 a.m. to noon.
