The South Texas Regional Council, USGBC Texas will be hosting a symposium at UT RGV's Brownsville campus to discuss community strategies for climate adaptation.


Topics Include:

  • Urban Heat Islands
  • Green Stormwater Infrastructure
  • Approaches to Solve Urban Heat Islands
  • Green Roofs - Case Studies
  • 10-year, 100-year, 1000-year: How to Design Buildings to Last 


This event also offers the opportunity to meet and network with people in green careers: architecture, engineering, sustainability, environmental governance professions, and more.
