USGBC Texas is a community-benefit nonprofit (501c3) committed to ensuring a better built environment for current and future generations of Texans. We are uniquely focused on uniting all stakeholders involved in the development, design, construction, operation and use of the built infrastructure to achieve equitable practices and policies that are economically, environmentally, and socially sustainable.

What we do:

• develop programs that educate our members and communities on the design, construction, and operation of sustainable real estate projects;
• provide the tools (connections, opportunities, and detailed examples) necessary to move product suppliers, project and cities in greener directions;
  
• create learning opportunities for our children as well as healthier learning environments in schools;
  
• inform and guide local and state leaders on decisions impacting the built environment and infrastructure, land development practices, and natural resources;
  
• lead by example for our communities, state, and the rest of the country.

These actions form our shared mission, and all of this revolves around you - your participation, membership and financial support - you are the lifeblood of the USGBC Texas Chapter from El Paso to Houston and DFW to the Rio Grande Valley.
