About the Event:
The most efficient heat pumps, air conditioners, and furnaces available on the market today were developed right here in Carrollton, Texas. Lennox was also the first manufacturer to successfully complete the Department of Energy’s Cold Climate Heat Pump Challenge. Secretary of Energy Jennifer Granholm came to visit Lennox PD&R to recognize the achievement in 2022.
Join us for a discussion of the latest in HVAC energy efficiency and controls research:
- Hear from Ajay Iyengar, Lennox’s VP of Advanced Technology about the latest Research and Development related to HVAC technology (efficiency, cold-climate performance, controls, and next-generation refrigerants).
- Discuss HVAC impact on building decarbonization and LEED v5 certification
- Provide feedback directly to product managers and engineers about what features and capabilities you desire in the HVAC space.
- Tour behind-the-scenes at the Lennox research and testing facilities, including the Extreme Environmental Test chambers, accelerated life testing, the “shake table,” airflow tunnels, sound testing, corrosion testing, and more.
